Billy's House
ANGLESEA
Perched on the edge of the Anglesea heathland, the residence reimagines a home long shaped by successive alterations.

The design restores a dialogue with the surrounding bushland, dissolving boundaries between interior and landscape.

Spatial sequencing is carefully refined to enhance flow, support staged construction, and simplify daily life.

Thoughtful attention to thermal performance, achieved within the existing footprint, anchors the project in both environmental sensitivity and its coastal context.

Alterations and additions are often the most exacting projects for an architect, demanding careful negotiation between the old and the new. This residence was no exception, requiring a sensitive reworking to reconcile past layers while creating a cohesive, contemporary home.
